Outage Support 

Our integrity engineers have extensive experience of providing support to nuclear operators throughout the outage cycle, from preliminary planning and definition of inspection plans and requirements, through to data analysis and evaluation of identified flaws.

Using a detailed knowledge of potential degradation mechanisms, inspection technique capabilities and an understanding of the component and its operating conditions, we are able to develop the necessary inspection plans and associated acceptance criteria in preparation for the outage.

During the outage, our engineers can provide a rapid response assessment service following the identification of any results which are not compliant with the defined acceptance criteria, and the associated liaison with the regulatory authorities.  We are experienced in the necessity of balancing safety and regulatory requirements with generation demands.
