Improving passenger flow on the London Underground

Vectra Design Solutions Group has been developing and installing  a number of platform graphic devices for trials on ten London Underground stations. The purpose of the trial is to assess whether graphics speed up passenger flows on and off trains. The markings have made their way onto  national news and  the BBC News website!

Vectra acquired by Arcadis

We are very pleased to announce the completion of the sale of Vectra to Arcadis

Following approval of the Vectra sale at the recent Volvere EGM the sale of Vectra has been completed with immediate effect. We are very enthusiastic about the potential opportunities for Vectra and its staff through working with the rest of the Arcadis Group. Much of the feedback internally has been positive and the limited feedback so far from external clients, partners and other interested parties has also been extremely positive. Let us not forget the role played by Volvere in taking Vectra out of Amey and stabilising the business. However, the growth potential of a standalone small business is limited compared to what we envisage the backing of an international group could deliver. It is now time to take Vectra to the next stage of its development.
